Kirkman J. Hoffman is a South Bay native, having graduated from Del Mar High School in 1983 and having earned a B.A. in political science from San Jose State University in 1987, magna cum laude.  Kirk’s love for the law and sense of justice led him to Santa Clara University, School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1990.  

After admission to the California bar that same year, Mr. Hoffman honed his research and litigation skills with a local real estate law firm before opening his own office in 1995.  It was Mr. Hoffman’s dream to offer high-value, affordable legal services to his clients in a more direct and personal way.  Over the past thirteen-plus years, Mr. Hoffman has seen that dream become a reality.  During that time, the Law Offices of Kirkman J. Hoffman has helped literally thousands of property owners, landlords, and management companies better manage and control their properties, amassing an impressive record of success–over 95%–over a variety of cases involving residential, commercial, foreclosure, and income properties.

Mr. Hoffman is happily married to a wonderful woman and together they raise four beautiful children, Valentine, Soren, Isaak, and Wolfgang.  Each bring joy and meaning to his life and practice.
