UPDATE: AB 1482
Although taking effect in January 2020, the recently passed “Anti-rent-gouging bill” in California, AB 1482, is RETROACTIVE to March 15, 2019. As of this date, rightful evictions by landlords may be subject to legal action, per the new legislation.
